CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) invites members of the media to attend a special event, as RTA and civic partners announce a local, summer travel and tourism promotion that allows families to travel on RTA at a significantly reduced rate.
- Joe Calabrese, RTA CEO and General Manager
- Chris Ronayne, President, University Circle Inc.
- Representatives from Cuyahoga County
- Representatives from Destination Cleveland, area museums, parks and sponsor partners
The “Go RTA” summer fun program allows up to three children 12 and under to ride RTA free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult, age 18 or older. Up to three children may ride with each adult.
The promotion runs between Saturday, June 10, and Sunday, August 6.
RTA is working with a host of partners, sponsors and venues to provide awareness of the many family-friendly opportunities, and to help them get there in the most fun, convenient and affordable way possible. Showing your RTA fare card or mobile ticket provides discounts at many restaurants and venues in the area.
