GCRTA launches their new Transit Ambassador Program, a progressive policing and community engagement initiative that reduces the law enforcement's footprint on GCRTA transit systems by integrating unarmed professionals to handle non-criminal issues.
GCRTA in collaboration with CDPH will provide free onsite COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots at Luke Easter Park on Saturday, September 3, 2022, during the John Adams Rebel Roll Call clinic.

RTA was awarded grants from two ODOT transit funding programs. Those funds will go towards RTA's Rail Car Replacement and Bus Improvement Programs.

The Waterfront Line remains suspended due to safety concerns related to the Waterfront Line Bridge. The goal is to have repairs completed for the start of the Browns 2023 season.
